#50 - Transforming healthcare with Jiri Vermeulen en Lola Bladt from Minze Health

In this episode, we welcome Jiri Vermeulen and Lola Bladt from Minze Health: a Belgian digital healthcare company on a mission to revolutionise urology, pelvic health and incontinence care.

Jiri co-founded the company and is currently working as its Chief Product Officer. Lola was one of the first employees taking ownership of research and user-centric design decisions early-on, leading to her role als R&D manager today. Minze’s products are currently being used in over 400 hospitals and practices around the world, from Europe to the United states of America to Australia.

In this fun and exciting conversation, Jiri and Lola share their own personal stories about Minze’s early days and what they both have learned turning a visionary concept into an established digital healthcare company throughout the years.

We discuss the ins & outs of innovation in healthcare, the importance of understanding who your users are (spoiler: not always so easy!) and the trade-offs between strategy, design and implementation. Hopefully, you’ll be as inspired as us by their positive, entrepreneurial mindset.
